Take one more step
I almost named this post “whew chile!” because whew, chile! When you’re overwhelmed, just do the next thing that you can do. If you feel like that’s all you’ve been doing anyway, find someone who will come alongside you in the hard times and remind you that you matter and to keep going.

Worth the wait
Waiting on the Lord means new strength not more of the same strength but a divinely sustained ability and capacity. Don’t try to maintain from an exhaustible source of strength. Eagerly anticipate that God is going to move on your behalf. Who you become in the waiting and the glory that follows are worth the wait.

Bare necessities
“Forget about your worries and your strife.” Seasons that call us to surrender in a way we never have before and that take us down to the bare necessities of life teach us dependence on God and deepen our relationship with Him in a way that will end in His glory and ours.
